Apart from some problems with exploding pianos, the GFB video is shaping up nicely. The estimated delivery date is 3rd August. Due to terrible weather conditions, Marko of Husky couldn't appear in the video (as a motorcycle avenger), but we're hoping he'll be able to participate by doing sound design. Marko's especially good with laser sounds so keep your fingers crossed.
We've also been working on the Pepe Live Experience, and while the set list isn't ready yet, it looks like there's gonna be very few surprises for those who are familiar with our style: blues to surf, punk to classical and funk to psychedelia. Maybe something else too. Backed by a completely new set of visuals. Yep!

Go For Blue video is a GO! We have spent the last two weeks designing and building various props ranging from pirate treasure maps to guitar amplifier stack suits. According to director Kari Moore the shooting of the short film happens "in Venus or similar location". Apparently the plot involves foxy ladies, explosions, monkey drummers, German WWII bombers, spaceships, dinosaurs and knights ... but there's gonna be some strange and unusual stuff too, as this video will complete the Spare Time Machine video trilogy.
P.S. The album is out now!! The digi pack version feels nicer but the upcoming jewel case version has an extra page on the booklet. I myself couldn't decide between the two ...so I ordered both. Lucky for us we get artist discount from Catskills.

The Celestial Feline Voices have finally announced the following release dates:
4th June - The Mischief of Cloud Six (single)
13th June - Spare Time Machine (album, Finland only)
25th June - Spare Time Machine (album)
As usual we have spent more time on the artwork than an average band spends on the entire record... in fact we're working on a special edition art-only version of the album, coming with a non-recordable blank CD. Several reliable sources have already stated that this is most likely "the next big thing" in music.

The new heart of Pepe's Tearoom 1 studio was finally delivered to us. UTV-652 is a portable 6-channel mixing console designed and built by the Finnish National Radio for the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. Our unit is the only known, fully operational example of its type. The most special thing about the console is the great number of extremely rare and custom-made components, making 1960's Abbey Road mixers feel like some latest digital gadgets. The painstaking research, repair and heavy hot-rodding job was done by electronics wiz Joni Vesanen (pictured left), and the official delivery ceremony was brief but very beautiful.

There are two kinds of electronic audio circuits. Good circuits and the OTHER kind. These bring you sonic shocks out of the darker quarters of the universe - the sirens' song of age old myth, languages out of the Greater Magellanic Cloud... who knows what? That's what has kept us busy: we've take a short leave from working on and in the studio to develop a rather special mike preamplifier, using the circuits of the other kind. If it survives the rigorous testing and it sounds as good as it looks, we'll be releasing the first official Ultratone product later this year!
